For our client in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Level Executive: Business Analyst

You are taking over an important business analyst role within the stream "Collateral & Margining Management" as part of the overall Operations Program. You will be working in a small and flexible team (dedicated project manager, analyst and subject matter experts). The project is key in regard to enable successful implementation of collateral management for the new legal entity structure. It includes coverage of OTC (Over-the-Counter Derivatives), ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives) and SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) and REPO collateralization and is integrated within the front-to-back (f2b) value chains with Investment Bank and Group Treasury. The stream is under co-lead with an investment bank representative therefore beside the collateral management operations representative.

Power of comprehension as well as the ability to analyse and drive for solutions within complex environments is a prerequisite for this challenging and interesting job opportunity. The ability to deliver on time and in good quality is critical. Furthermore, it is key that you are able to act and manage in a global and demanding environment. The role demands skills and abilities to understand and strive business operating models, processes, technology infrastructure as well as regulatory frameworks. It covers the full project life cycle from concept, business requirement phase to testing, migration and implementation.

Your responsibilities:

Main activities:

  • Act as senior business analyst for collateral management stream within Group Operations including taking over challenging construction sites which require deep-dive analysis and resolution finding within tightly integrated stakeholder environment on Investment Bank, Group Treasury, Credit Risk,
  • Finance, Legal and other Group Operation streams as well as with central program bodies and IT delivery side
  • Prepare meaningful presentations as basis for decision making for senior management and stakeholder as well as documentation of business requirements
  • Managing migration related conceptual and preparation tasks as well as execution
  • Plan, prepare and execute testing and implementation activities

    As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:
  • University degree or equivalent certificate
  • Several years of business analysis and project management experience in large-scale and multi-location projects, preferably in banking/IT environment (especially Collateral & Margining Management, Securities Borrowing & Lending, REPO, OTC-Derivatives or FX trading/Operations experiences a plus)
  • Delivery focused, high-energy, hands-on and independent team player with pro-active leadership personality
  • Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities as well as highly developed skills to structure/organize complex topics and tasks
  • Well-developed communication skills including oral and written English language with talent to structuring and generating meaningful business requirements
  • Ability to lead, mobilize and guide multiple stakeholders through all aspects of project life cycle
  • Willing to perform to a high standard and demonstrate resilience to stress
  • Strong interpersonal skills including confident manner to work in a global organization
