Business Analyst sought by our client, a major investment bank in Zurich.
This is a 6 month contract that will work within a project focused on regulatory changes to improve the stability of various legal entities. The role has a global focus to coordinate and implement the required legal structure changes including the creation of subsidiaries and other legal entities.
The successful candidate will be an important part of a small team that includes a dedicated project manager as well as other business analysts and subject-matter experts. Experience and an aptitude for a demanding global environment. They will also be covering the full project life cycle from concept to business requirements to testing and migration/implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior Business Analyst and take active ownership all the way from concept to solution implementation across multiple global streams
- Document business requirements as well as preparing presentations based on these for communication to senior management and stakeholders
- Plan, prepare and execute testing and implementation activities
- Conceptualising, preparing and executing migration tasks
- Ensuring that Service Level Agreements, standard operating procedures and training are correctly executed and implemented.
- Tasks related to project management such as planning, coordination, prioritization, managing stakeholders and documentation to ensure that deliverable timeframes are met.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Business Analyst and large-scale and multi-location project experience in a banking environment, ideally in securities/lending finance
- Collateral Management experience is essential
- OTC/ETE/REPO experience
- Ability to lead and manage multiple stakeholders through the entire project life cycle
- Pro-active leadership personality
- Ability to handle high-stress situations
- Excellent oral and written English
