For a global bank based here in Zurich we are looking for a Market Risk BA/Technical Writer to join the team.
The Job:
The BA part of the contract:
Market Risk Technology is looking for a Value at Risk (VaR) Business Analyst to support regulatory driven projects like Risk Framework Advanced VaR Model (RFAM) to comply with Bank of England - Prudential Regulation Authority - Prudential sourcebook for Banks, Building Societies and Investment Firms (PRA BIPRU). The Business Analyst is responsible for interfacing with VaR Methodology team and documenting the requirements. The candidate should perform analysis as necessary on data sourcing to ensure VaR data requirements are met. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders impacted by this change are engaged. The BA should work with IT and Stakeholders to develop and implement the overall testing strategy and UAT plans.
Technical Writing part:
- Market Risk Technology is looking for a Technical Writer who can document Technical Architecture, Data flows, Business Rules, etc.
- The Tech Writer will collaborate with developers to document Architecture of the existing IT applications and write Technical Specifications.
- The selected candidate will have primary responsibility for creating/updating and delivering technical documentation for the various internal platforms, which may include Visio architectural representations, as well as detailed documentation in Word, Excel and Agile tools such as Wiki
We are looking for candidates with:
- Strong Risk Management background, in particular Market Risk - VaR
- At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience in the Financial Services IT industry
- Experience with FINMA, PRA, FED related regulatory projects and/or Incremental Risk Charge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Investment banking products and processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Well-structured and ability to set priorities under pressure
- 5+ Years of experience in documenting IT Systems and Architectural diagrams
- Able to create effective systems documentation including specifications, use cases, system flow diagrams, etc
- Document data flows and interactions between applications
- Participate in status meetings to capture information and create relevant documentation
- Ability to document APIs of applications
- Familiarity with Client Server application deployments
- Familiarity with programming concepts and some programming experience
- Knowledge of Risk Management Systems is big plus
