The BdU Consulting AG provides various services in the IT sector in cooperation with large and established companies. For the ongoing support of our customers, we are looking for a System Engineer Unix for Zürich.

Tasks:
• Installation, integration and automation of the Unix servers (virtual and physical
• Operation, deployment and support of the Unix servers
• Analysis and fix of incidents and problems
• Improvement of the services and its availablity
• Documentation of the infrastructure
• Technical consultant to internal engineers and projects

Requirements:
• Stable operation of the Unix servers required
• Provide control, manageability and integrity of the environment to maximise service availability
• Support IT- and Business projects by consulting and providing them the requested infrastructure in time
• Good technical understanding of a complex IT Infrastructure (> 200 Servers)
• Able to fix incidents under pressure in a structured manner
• Good communication skills
• Customer focused and service oriented mindset
• Good analytical and conceptional skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Basic knowledge of LAN and firewall zone princibles
• Experience in working with ITIL processes for Incident-, Change- and Problem Management
