Job Description:
Installation, integration and automation of the Unix Servers (virtual and physical)
Operation, deployment and support of the Unix Servers
Analysis and fix of incidents and problems
Improvement of the services and its availability
Documentation of the infrastructure
Technical consultant to internal engineers and projects
Ensure stable operation of the Unix Servers
Provide control, manageability and integrity of the environment to maximise service availability
Support IT- and Business projects by consulting and providing them the requested infrastructure in time within Banking Industry
Required Skills:
Good technical understanding of a complex IT Infrastructure (> 200 Servers)
Able to fix incidents under pressure in a structured manner
Good communication skills
Customer focused and service oriented mind-set
Good analytical and conceptional skills
Fluent in German and English
Basic knowledge of LAN and Firewall zone principles
Experience in working with ITIL processes for Incident-, Change- and Problem Management
Work location: Zurich
Duration: 21.07.2014 to 30.11.2014
Permits required: EU citizen or valid work permit for Switzerland
Workload: 100% onsite
