Data Management Specialist
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a Junior Data Management Specialist. For this contracting position based in Zürich our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- To be part of a centralized team with cross disciplinary responsibilities
- To support the team in providing data services for several front and Back Office systems
- Data maintenance for accounts, instruments, benchmarks, prices and positions for all business and control areas of Asset Management in Switzerland
- Identify and analyze complex data issues
- Mapping of security identifiers across a complex framework of up- and downstream systems
- Referencing and linking of Issuers and Issues and determination of ratings for Investment Guideline Controlling
For this junior position you will need the following skills:
- Some working experience of operational, data management experience within an established financial institution, investment bank, fund management organization, in-house data group or data vendor
- A thorough understanding of financial instruments and assets classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Funds Derivatives, etc.
- Knowledge of vendor data feeds, databases and products that update, maintain and deliver data.
- Experienced user for querying, analysing and reporting data
- Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently, but a strong team player.
- Ability to stay organized and demonstrate an ability to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Good command of German and English
