The ideal candidate will be naturally target oriented, flexible and communicative.
The role requires intellectual capacity as well as several years of field experience in the Unix area, mainly AIX & but with deep skills in the DB2 LUW area. the client would prefer a background in DB2 Architecture, DB2 Design and Engineering.
Alongisde these important skills, we are also looking at skills in creating and analysing in SQL, as well as experience in performance and Tuning. Experience as a Systems Administrator as well as an Engineer with Programming skills would be an ideal fit.
You will also possess handling experience of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This role is based in Zurich and the team mainly speaks English, however written and spoken German is always good for the team.
Skill-set In brief;
Experience in the area performance and Tuning
Good skills in creation and analyze/parse also from complex SQL's
AIX Unix and pre supposed system administration experience
Analytical for Data warehouses in Financial/Banking industry
Database design (physical, logical)
DB2 DPF (Database Partitioning Feature)
