For a project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for a skilled Solution Engineer JEE/Oracle Weblogic (2116)
The tasks you will be performing:
- Implement and integrate Oracle WebLogic Application Server RTS (Run Time Stack) components, configuration items and the application in close collaboration with the project, engineering and operations (peer).
- Adapt Oracle WebLogic Application Server to standard platforms and surrounding systems.
- Document, automate and optimize all relevant systems, components and processes.
- Strong focus on operability, fail save and fail over mechanism in place. Compile and submit requirements towards engineering, track requirements.
- Define and control quality assurance processes and tools.
- Solution delivery and project consulting for the GPP project in regards of all aspects of Oracle WLS and its configuration.
Your Skills:
Application Server:
- Oracle WebLogic Application Server (10.x/12.x)
- Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
- Configuring SSL, generating x509 Certificates, Keytool, 2 way SSL
- Analyzing critical client side issues like server hang, crash, out of memory, high IO load and troubleshooting, tuning
- TCP stack level analysis on OS level
- Understanding client code including EJB2/3, JSP, Servlets, struts
- Configuration JDBC resources, data sources and bounding to the Java EE applications.
- Configuration the connection pools for the data sources.
- Creating WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) scripts as well as adjustments to the application scripts to improve installation of project requirements.
- Documenting features, technical specifications & infrastructure requirements.
- Supporting and consulting application developers and users regarding the WebLogic infrastructure and technical system
- Renewal of SSL certificates for GWS-supported external and internal sites, in depth knowledge of public-key cryptography, Thawte, VeriSign and Entrust signed certificates

You should be a strong communicator, have analytical, conceptual and design skills and be able to demonstrate strong team working skills. ITIL know how is a plus.
