Project Manager - Manufacturing (with Pharma/Life science Experience)
Edelway AG is IT/Pharma professional services staffing consultancy with over 160 consultants active In Switzerland. We are currently looking for experience PMs/PMO to join our global pharmaceutical Client in Basel. This will be a long term relationship month's contract).
Languages: Fluent English, German is a plus.
Start Date: July/August
Rate/Salary: Excellent
You will be working on a large transformation program to comply with the latest European Manufacturing/SCM regulations.
The Project Manager will be responsible for effectively tracking budgets and financial forecasts, creating and tracking detailed project plans, effectively leading and facilitating project meetings as well as proactively controlling project scope, risks and issues. This position is expected to provide timely status reports to all stakeholders and escalate issues to the appropriate management level. You should be able to manage multiple projects concurrently. Additionally, this position must effectively manage the projects across global locations and time zones.
Your Profile
*Leads the deployment of new manufacturing processes across multiple company locations.
*Manages multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
*Facilitate project management activities across the entire project management methodology
*Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables, track progress against baseline schedule
*Plan, baseline and control costs to ensure projects are completed within approved budget
*Identify and apply systematic quality activities to ensure that projects employ all processes needed to meet Computer System Validation directives and Regulated environments
*Design and implement improvements where necessary/appropriate to improve operational efficiencies
*Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis and monitoring on projects and formulate mitigation strategies for these risk and recommend solutions
*Working with a cross functional team and business leadership; analyzes the problem, scopes the project, and develops the business case for projects.
You need.
*Solid demonstrated Project Management experience; at least 5 years. Demonstrated competency planning and tracking project schedules with clearly-defined critical paths
*Previous experience working for the Manufacturing/SCM part of a Pharma/Life Sciences/Medical Devices company.
*Experience managing IT projects in GxP validated environments
*Degree educated. Plus: PMP, Prince2, certified.
