For a long term project at our client site in Zurich we are looking for immediate support in the form of a
Senior Test and Quality Strategy Specialist (2099)
Our client is introducing a program to bring the actuarial processes and systems on a new level. This includes the implementation of a managed hosted solution for actuarial modelling, the improvement of the actuarial models for group and individual life portfolio, the enhancement of data feeds, the evaluation of solution options for eliminating technology risks stemming from an outdated system, and the implementation of a data warehouse for actuarial data.
Job Summary
This test and quality specialist defines the overall testing strategy and metrics and manages testing.
Job Tasks
- Defines testing strategy and manages testing activities of the project
- Analyzes system and business requirements for testability
- Develops test cases, text scenarios based on the requirement
- Run test cases, identify defects, log defects, retest as necessary or
- Provide proof of 'pass' of the test case
- Communicate status with program management team
- Develops, documents, maintains, and executes specific test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Utilizes testing tools, as required
- Reports status around test plan execution through defect logs and defect tracking system
- Validates acceptance criteria are met
- Assists with resolution of environmental issues
- Supports implementation and user training activities
- Develops Test Design Reports, including definition of Test Objectives and Test Scenarios, Quality Criteria and metrics
- Analyzes Test Results and assists in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
- Assists in training of other testers
Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent specific relevant business experience)
- International certification (eg ISTQB Certified Tester Advances) advantageous
- Several years of experience as a test and quality specialist/manager
- Working experience in insurance and/or finance industry advantageous
- Fluent spoken and written German
- Good spoken and written English skills
