Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 2511for a Java Developer (f/m)
Project environment
The mandate takes place in a global Swiss Insurance company near Zurich. The team you will be working in is responsible for the design, build and maintenance of interfaces which connect various source systems with the company’s Finance Data Store (FDS).
Tasks
As part of a Scrum based team you will support the Java development team in the area of batch processing. You will work across the whole Software Development Lifecycle.
Requirements
You should:
• have a keen interest in software development.

• like to write clean code and break down complex issues into simple solutions.
• prefer to solve issues rather than fixing symptoms.
• seek out feedback and accept constructive criticism positively.
Technical skills
Must have:
• Strong Java SE and Java EE knowledge.
• Strong automated testing background.
• Strong relational database background.
• Fluent English.
Nice to have:
• Fluent German.
• Experience with DB2 on z/OS.
• ETL knowledge.
• Experience in Batch development.
Workload: 100%
Start Date: asap
Duration: 6 months, with option of prolongation
