System Engineer
to
Location: Zuchwil, Solothurn
Language: English and German required.
Project/Department Description and responsibilities
* Information Technology Shared Services
. Infrastructure Division
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
. GRQP project related IT Infrastructure activities of Linux/MySQL/PHP systems
. Analyze systems and document systems in scope of CSV according to SDLC requirements
. Prepare and execute infrastructure qualifications (IQ/OQ)
. 2nd & 3rd Line support (troubleshooting, incident management, debugging)
. Design & deploy solutions
. Integration and support of solutions together with other application teams
. Performance monitoring & tuning
. Creation and improvements of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and QA documentation
. Disaster recovery design & support activities
. Executing planned maintenance (security patching, operating system and tooling upgrades, )
Technical profile requirements
. Strong knowledge and Experience with Linux (RHEL6), PHP, PL/SQL - MSSQL/MySQL
. Experience with Web services/SOAP, Zend Framework and Suber version
. Experience with MSSQL access from Linux/PHP
. Knowledge of other server OS and technologies is a plus
Experience in regulated environments, especially CSV and GxP
* Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
* Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
* Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
* Quick learner, motivated self-starter
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
* Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
* On-call permanency is possible Methodology/Certification requirements
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR Federal Diploma in Information Technology
