For a six month project with extension option at our insurance client in Zurich we are looking for immediate support in the form of aProject Leader – Online Platform Pension Administration (2102)
who fulfills the following profile:
• Responsible for ensuring successful delivery of the specific solution build area and for its compliance with the design
• Responsible for day-to-day management of the project and the overall execution
• Conduct project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan
• Determine required resources for the project
• Responsible for management and support of all activities relating to Interfaces required to communicate with inbound/outbound systems
• Responsible for managing the unit/system testing his tasked component of the solution design
• Driving internal communication management on IT topics
• Maintain IT resources available to comply with local business needs
• Assess, document and communicate risks
• Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives, and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members.
Work experience
• At least 3 years of project management experience in project implementations using formal project management methodology, techniques and tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan and schedule.
• Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bring projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
• 1-2 years of implementation experience is a plus
• Management experience in managing small to medium size teams or organizations
• Strong people management skills are desirable
Education and Qualification / Skills and Competencies
• Knowledge in Web Technologies and architecture
• Excellent leadership, project management, time management, and problem solving skills
• Strong decision-making and execution skills
• Required university degree, preferably in engineering, information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
• Education in Computer Science or related field
• Born communicator, able to convey clear messages
• Very good skills in English, German both written and spoken
