For a project at our bankin client site in Zurich, we are immediately looking for a skilled

Senior Java/J2EE Developer in Credit Risk Wealth Management (2088)

We are looking for a Java developer to support us in the migration from Sparc Solaris to x86 hardware architecture.
This includes migration from Websphere 6 to Websphere 7 for a number of applications.

Task & Responsibilities:
In a team of 2-3 people, several applications must be migrated from Sparc Solaris to x86 hardware architecture.
You will primarily be responsible for the migration from Websphere 6 to Websphere 7 in the development environment as well as the packaging and installation in all test environments and production.
Furthermore you will be involved in other secondary tasks, such as modifying shell scripts.

Deliverables:
Successful migration and rollout of all applications.

Your qualifications:
- Deep technical skills of Websphere 6 & 7 administration mandatory.
- Basic knowledge in the areas of Java/JavaEE/J2EE mandatory.
- ANT, MAVEN and basic shell scripting skills (unix korn shells) mandatory.
- Basic skills of C++ (compilation of existing libraries on the new hardware platform).
- German skills are an advantage
