Job Description
- You will be part of a team migrating Splunk version 4 to version 6
- Splunk consist out of 10+ components which you have to adjust or fully re-create
- Develope Splunk 6 components
- Build packages in Linux RPM Format
- Create and execute manual and/or automated tests
- Check Firewalls
- Updated or adjust current code fragments in Bash, Python and Java
- Code reviews with feedback
Requirements
- You possess a Bsc/Msc in Computer Science or relevant working experience
- 3 years+ in IT Systems & Software Engineering
- Unix, Linux/At least one Object Oriented Language (eg .NET, JAVA, C++, etc.)
- Excellent Log Management know-how (Splunk preferred)
- Understanding of networks, code versioning
- Experience in the area of security in general
- Fluent English, German is a plus
- Good communication and negotiation skills, team-oriented
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Daily rate: 800 CHF (all inclusive)
Only candidates who are Swiss or EU residents or currently hold a valid Swiss work permit can be considered.
