Windows 7 Application Coordinator
The Windows 7 Application coordinator will have responsibility for overseeing the progress of the Application Readiness for the assigned applications required for the XP to Windows7 deployments are on track to be deployed by Q4 2014.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Windows 7 Application Workstream Lead, Windows 7 Project Manager, IT & Business application owners and global Quality and Compliance (GXP/GRQP) team to establish application readiness and execute against those plans
- Windows 7 App Coordinator will partner with the Windows 7 Project Manager and the GRQP team to ensure an aligned execution with appropriate documentation and remediation strategies
- Windows 7 App Coordinator will coordinate activities with GalaxE, the ITS supported vendor, to conduct app evaluation, identify remediation efforts and determine remediation activities, costs and timelines
- Windows 7 App coordinator will track application remediation progress, reporting roadblocks to the Windows 7 Application Workstream Lead
- Ensure compliance with all IT, GXP and SDLC procedures
- Coordinate Windows 7 application readiness per user groups to the & Windows 7 desktop deployment team leads across multiple locations
- Engage local resources from both Business and IT to support application testing and documentation activities
- Business analyst experience
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience.
- Strong program/project management & organization skills required.
- Strong teamwork and influence skills required.
- Excellent communication skills and previous experience in a leadership role
- Strong background in application validation, GXP & UAT testing preferred
- Previous experience managing IT Infrastructure or large programs is preferred.
- Fair IT infrastructure knowledge in the end-user domain
- Windows 7, Windows XP
- General understanding of IT application architectures
