Security/Firewall Specialist
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Security/Firewall Specialist. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyze rules on the Firewall based on statistics and other information
- Work with the application teams to understand the impact of rule changes
- Propose changes or drops of rules
- Implement the rule changes and track outcome together with the onsite project team
- Make suggestions on how to further improve the Firewall settings
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Experienced security engineer with Firewall configuration and remediation background
- Minimum of 5 years background in this space
- Deep know of Firewall concepts
- Good communication skills
- Leadership skills for an application teams
- Firewall management tools such as Tufin
- Worked in the financial industry
- English is a must to have
- German is nice to have
