Trauma Product Development Engineer
Job Summary
Jobholder requires full knowledge and understanding of the tasks specific to the Trauma PME Development. Specialists must be fully conversant with the procedures, policies, processes, systems and technology that impact their work and that of the area.
General Functions
-Working knowledge of the majority of development procedures & processes.
-Has adequate experience to demonstrate proficiency in the following:
-Design Control and Change Control procedure
-Development-related operating procedures and work instructions
-Anatomy
-Has ability to handle assignments or low technical complexity.
-Good functional understanding of supporting departments processes & procedures
-Can apply current technologies to solve problems.
-Basic knowledge of Zimmer and competitive products. In depth knowledge related to PME work.

Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum education requirements are a degree in biomechanics, mechanical, or other engineering science, or suitable combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates an ability to apply engineering principles to the business environment.
Expected Areas of Competence
Languages:
-German good reading and writing (or other European Langue like French or Italian).
-English good reading and writing
