Tätigkeit:Customer is building an IaaS platform for VLDB based on Oracle.
The underlying infrastructure is base on HP x86 platform. Scope of the project is to build a data hosting platform (DHP) for Very Large Data Bases (VLDB).

Profile description
Senior Oracle expert who is able to develop a cloning solution for VLDB. The candidate must be able to work out a migration
framework which enables customer to migrate VLDB’s to the new platform (different HW/OS/Oracle version) and to execute a
pilot of the solution and to deliver a detailed documentation.
Tasks
• Participate to review and further documentation of migration & upgrade framework and its selected tool
• Review common market solutions DBMS independent (e.g. Golden Gate, SharePlex)
• Write test concept of migration solution (test plan, pretest software engineering)
• Write overall migration process description (incl. installation guide and a user guide)
• Develop/configure a pilot framework or define guidelines for application migrations (DB layer)
Deliverables
• Migration solution design including blueprint
• Test plan, pilot testing results
• Guidelines and/or pilot framework
• Overall migration process description (incl. installation guide and a user guide)
Skills needed
Senior Oracle expert, VLDB experience, Oracle 11gR2 base build/Linux (RH6), Dataguard, Shareplex, ASM, RAC,
GoldenGate, RAT
Good technical writer/documentation skills. Oracle Systems
certification expected
