For a global bank based here in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team.
The Job
Senior Software Developer required to work on the front to back order management and execution platform for mutual funds and hedge funds as part of a larger program.
We are looking for candidates with:
- an in depth understanding of OO principles.
- >5 years experience as a Java developer (J2EE)
- Experience with C#, especially WPF, is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of web services
- Demonstrates experience of using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks).
- Has experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development.
- >5 years RDBMS experience required (ideally Oracle)
- Experience of the full project life cycle.
- Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development.
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (eg SCRUM).
