For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:
SQL/Essbase Developer
to sustain and develop the client's Dynamic Forecast solution as well as to support the client's market deployment
Responsibilities will include:
- Sustain and develop enhancements for Dynamic Forecast solution
- Support the deployment of Markets
- Liaise with process owners to determine the technical requirements of DF solution
- Perform SQL development on DF SQL databases working from functional specifications
- Perform development based on Agile methods such as Scrum
- Perform Technical Unit Testing and Technical Integration Testing
- Supports Market Integration and Market Acceptance test cycles as needed
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions as well as with Business Intelligence Front End tools such as Hyperion Planning, Dodeca etc.
- Knowledge of SQL development for reporting and planning in complex environment
- Experience with Multidimensional databases (OLAP)
- Knowledge of Oracle Essbase and .NET development would be a plus
- Advanced Excel skills would be a plus
- Fluent in English
This is a contract position with an international client to the end of 2014 in the first instance. The client is located on Lake Geneva, in Vevey. Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
