Swisslinx is searching for a certified test engineer with a strong understanding of networking for a six month contract at one of our clients in the financial sector based in Zurich.
The roles and responsibilities will include:
- Defining test cases;
- End-to-end execution of tests;
- The writing of test reports;
- The creation of elaborate test plans;
- Communication and coordination with other testers and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a several years of experience as a test engineer or a test coordinator in a large enterprise. An in depth knowledge of network concepts tools and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, NAT, DMZ, Windows and Unix, etc) is required along with knowledge of file concepts and management, interpretation, indexing and troubleshooting. Experience in IT security will also be of a distinct advantage.
Excellent English skills are required for this position and knowledge of German will be an advantage.
