For our client we are looking for a Java developer.
Our client is building a tool to enable self-service patching of UNIX environments with three key objectives:
- Report on which patches need to be applied to what systems and by when
- Empower the system owner to schedule the patch installation on
- Once scheduled call out to the relevant systems to get the patch installed
The tool will need to integrate with existing systems & databases such as iSAC, PRISM, SEEM, vTRAK, RNOW, SUS & RHN. So this task requires someone who has skill in building web based applications in Java or similar languages that work with external data source. As the client's current development team is already very strong on the patch installation bit, they don't require someone with specific operating systems knowledge. What they need is someone who can connect all of their systems together and make them act as one.
