For a long-term project at our client, a worldwide acting insurance company located in Zurich, we are urgently looking for aApplication Support Specialist (1955)
In this position you will ensure the support for application and service requests for our customers’ European document management software.
You will coordinate with and escalate problems to internal IT partners and local IT support in the countries. Further, you will liaise with end users and local champions to answer request and provide information updates.
The role acts as a team representative of customer services and ensures customer satisfaction by:
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
Log, assign and monitor user requests with our customers’ dedicated IT partners to make sure that they are effectively solved
Answer ad hoc user requests
Provide information updates to our customers’ user community in about 20 countries
Handle software tool and user administration tasks
At a later stage: take over some of the training activities
To fulfil these demanding international tasks you meet the following requirements:
Proven experience in a service or support environment
Ability to explain technical aspects to non-IT people
Fluency in English is a must - Fluent in German: strongly recommended – Spanish or French: would be beneficial
Strong customer focus and service oriented attitude
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective and controlled in demanding situations
Ability to be proactive and take ownership
Independent working style
Ability to learn very quickly
Most importantly you possess:
Networking skills, being able to foster strong relationships with our stakeholders in about 20 countries
Likes to be member of a small and dedicated team with a proven track record in project delivery
Likes to work in an international set up
