For a six month project with continuation option at our client, a worldwide acting bank located in Zurich, we are urgently looking for aJava Application Developer w/ Oracle (1969)
In this position you will be responsible for the re-engineering of a Mutual & Hedge Fund Execution system based on a new target architecture aiming to significantly improve the user experience, further increase STP rates, better integrate with up- and down-stream systems, etc..
The work will include the following technologies: Java (Middle-Tier), Oracle, Coherence, C#/.NET (Front End), Ctrl-M
To fulfil this role you meet the following requirements:
• 8 years or more of Java experience
• 5 years or more of Oracle/PL-SQL experience
• Expert in object oriented software design and good knowledge of design patterns (e.g. CQRS)
• Self-starter
• Hands-on experience working in agile teams (Scrum)
• Outspoken, natural leader who can drive an agile software development team from the inside
• Agile engineering practices (unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring, etc.)
• Experience with order & trade management systems very beneficial
• English must
• Oral German very beneficial
