Harvey Nash is looking for an AE&O (Architecture, Engineering & Operations) Senior Project Manager for an 8-12 month project in Switzerland.
The role is about formulating and defining scope and objectives of the project in collaboration with the accountable Solution Owner and ensures communication and agreement of project goals, schedule baselines, and strategic direction to all identified stakeholders.
You are responsible for identifying all relevant project stakeholders and to establish and implement an appropriate communication plan to manage their requirements and expectations. delivering the project on approved (baseline) schedule, on approved (baseline) budget, within quality limits, and with the expected benefits, as defined at project entry and project baseline gates and through controlled and documented change management throughout project delivery, as needed Managing 3rd party software vendor and/or System Integrator resources as needed to ensure project delivery Actively managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) by carefully assessing potential impacts in collaboration with the respective project teams and proposing appropriate mitigation actions Creating baseline project schedules and tracks the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones Planning and controlling costs to ensure projects are completed within approved baseline budget Providing accurate, timely and fit for purpose project status reports using established norms and reporting tools of the portfolio Identifying, acquiring, and leading multifunctional, global project teams (project team sizes 15-60) compliance with project management, portfolio management and CSV policies, guidelines, process tools and reporting standards of the portfolio Managing the processes to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval, and ultimate disposition of project information and documentation necessary for successful communications across all stakeholders and any required updates to living system documents for validated systems Facilitating project management activities across the entire project management methodology(PMM) Requirements
7+ years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes Deep understanding of various System Development Life Cycles (Waterfall, Agile, iterative, etc.) Deep understanding of technology infrastructures Ability to manage medium to large (>2Mio CHF, >15 team members), complex, cross-functional projects across multiple global locations Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities PMP, Prince2 (or equivalent) certification required Plus: Experience within the Pharmaceutical and/or BioTech industry Plus: Experience deploying GxP validated systems Relevant Bachelors degree in CS, MIS, Life Sciences, Business; or equivalent experience Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
