Release Manager for global Treasury Data Warehouse applications
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Release Manager. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Coordinating end-to-end testing and release management for the Treasury Datawarehouse (TDWH)
- Create efficient/sustainable processes to handle changes from multiple project teams in different locations within an agile development environment
- The opportunity to enhance/improve our software development processes and test automation framework
- Set standards that guide the development teams in the creation of unit test cases
- The opportunity to gain in-depth banking knowledge in the areas of asset management, risk exposures and liquidity modelling
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- 5+ years as Release Manager with Development Background
- Good knowledge of Oracle (queries, partitioning, PL/SQL)
- Experience with unit- and regression-testing frameworks
- Good understanding of version control systems (ideally SVN or CVS)
- Experience working with Unix (including Shell Scripting)
- Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (version 8.6 or higher)
- Banking experience is a plus
- Proactive and reliable personality suited to working with a team
- German (spoken/written) as a plus
