For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Sybase DBA

Your responsibilities:
As part of the global DBA organization the Sybase database team provides 2nd and 3rd Level Support for Trading and Sales, Corporate, Retail and Private Banking Applications.

As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Professional Sybase DBA
  • Work experience with Sybase within the financial sector
  • UNIX/Linux knowledge
  • Good SQL and basic Scripting language
  • Good communication skills in English
  • knowledge of Sybase Replication Server/Sybase IQ
  • Experience with MS SQL Server
  • skills and experience in DB Tuning/Optimization
  • VM-Ware
  • CRM
  • Experience with wirting documentation
  • ITIL
  • German would be a big advantage
