Harvey Nash is looking for a Technical Architect for an 8 month project in Switzerland.
The role is for a potential member of the Infrastructure Architecture Group - End User Systems who will be in charge of all end user related architecture and engineering topics. The successful candidate fulfills architecture tasks and provides architecture related project support in EUS area
You are responsible for
Collaborating with Server and Client Services on definition, optimization and standardization of the Integrated Workplace Services architecture on a global basis Planning and driving the implementation of new server and Workstation architectures aligned with the architecture team Ensuring that the installed architecture satisfies defined performance, security and availability parameters Ensuring adequacy of upgrades Preparing for handover to operation team and facilitate service integration including in the build solutions to facilitate the support Engineering of enterprise grade client and server installation (Win8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, SCCM 2007 R2 and SCCM 2012 R2) Ensuring roadmaps are kept up to date and in line with vendor roadmaps Aligning with other AED functions on strategy Ensuring appropriate integration of mobile devices Requirements
Storage administration, architecture and/or integration experience NetApp specific experience is strongly desired Background in consulting or professional services for enterprise storage Experience with NetApp Operations Manager, Provisioning Manager or Protection Manager software (formerly DFM) a plus Experience with SAN, NAS, or DAS storage infrastructures and specific experience with NetApp products a plus Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
