For our client, for their R&D Centre based near Bern, we are looking for a product development engineer for a 9 month contract to the end of the year. This position is an ASAP start paying CHF95 to CHF100 per hour.
The successful product development engineer will be responsible for
- The design and development of new instruments, and also for improvements and modifications of existing instrumentation.
- New product development projects within interdisciplinary members and who work closely with surgeons, sales and market development managers.
- Collaboration with the technical engineering office, generate product models, concept layouts, complete testing requirements and the use of CAD software.
- Maintaining awareness of surgical, clinical, and technological trends.
The skills required for the successful product development engineer include-
- Excellent skills in Product Development (M) in a Pharmaceutical environment (N)
- High Degree in Engineering (M)
- Fluency in Spoken and written English (M) and German (N)
- Self-Motivated (M)
- Strong communication skills
