For a major client, a worldwide acting bank located in Zurich, we are urgently looking for aSenior J2EE EJB Engineer (1940)
As a Senior J2EE/Java Engineer you will contribute to the design and implementation of Java based applications as well as the respective maintenance and 3rd level support. In addition to performing hands-on design, implementation and 3rd level support tasks you will:
- liaise with Business Analysis to contribute to requirements engineering process and respective reviews
- conduct effort estimates for the respective project's engineering, testing and integration tasks
Requirements:
As a successful candidate, you should have 5+ years' experience in similar positions with EJBs and you are expected to have excellent technical and interpersonal skills. You should be able to understand our partners' requirements and quickly resolve any potential issue both in the project as well as in the productive environment. You are expected to have a successful track record in a similar environment for both of the two disciplines in scope here:
- e2e software development lifecycle with focus on the integration of 3rd party components
- incident management, problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations
From a technical point of view you should have in depth knowhow and profound experience (with demonstrated practice during the last 5 years) in the following areas:
• Java and J2EE including clearly demonstrated knowledge of J2EE design patterns
• J2EE component architecture, especially backend and security integration.
• Websphere and Oracle
• SQL, XML, shell scripting, Perl
• UNIX experience as a system engineer would be a plus
• IT Security (authentication, authorization, cryptography, certificate mgmt., etc.)
Storage and archiving solutions and resp. product knowledge (OnDemand) would be a plus and starting point would be asap.
