Transition Program Manager (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, a world leader in the corporate sector, Swisslinx are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competent

In this Senior role you will be responsible for managing multi-supplier, multi-geo, multi-cultural and organisationally complex Transition Programs at a global level.

The Transition Manager will be in charge for end to end transition management and senior stakeholder and supplier management and will oversee, maintain and report project performance status.

This is a long-term contract in Zurich (presumably until end of 2014, with possible extensions).

The start date is ASAP.

The work language is English.

For this senior role, we are searching for a senior candidate with 10+ years' IT experience and strong program/project management experience. Sound knowledge of IT Infrastructure transitions for large engagements with multiple suppliers is a must. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and management skills and is proficient in using project management tools. ITIL and PMP certifications are desirable. Strong IT Infrastructure background is a prerequisite for this position and the candidate needs to have an understanding of outsourced and retained delivery models.
