For our client, a worldwide financial institution, we are urgently looking in the area of Berne for a Requirements Engineer/Data Modeler (1930)
In this role you will develop technical concepts and be responsible for implementing the required and specified requirements to the projects according to the standard solution delivery processes within the company. You will be in charge with the technical specification and implementation of diverse interfaces and ETL processes to and from other systems and within our customers Data Warehouse (DWH).
Additionally, the following tasks will be included:
- Operations/Solution Integration
- 3rd level support for deployed components
- Acceptance tests in cooperation with Business and hand over to DWH operations and other support team
- Provide support documentations and checklists according to the system engineering standards of the company
To perform this job you meet the following requirements:
- Several years of proven experience of design and implementation of reporting solutions based on Oracle databases, PL/SQL
- Excellent and deep knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, UNIX
- Experience in logical and physical Datamodelling
- Very good analytical & design skills
- Good experience with Tools such as: Toad, Power Designer, Contorl-M
- Very good experience in Oracle DB tuning and troubleshooting (DBA skills would be a plus)
You are able to work under tight timelines and you are able to steer things forward. You have fluency in written and spoken English and strong problem solving and communication skills. German is only considered as a plus. Ideally you also have an university degree or if not, solid professional experience ( 5 to 10 years).
