Our global client are looking to hire a Support Analyst with experience working on FX and MM areas of Investment Banking to join their team in Zurich, Switzerland for a 6 month rolling contract.
Job Description
To handle user queries and incidents as outlined in the IT Service Catalogue, and to resolve per documented procedures and in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements. More experienced Support Analysts will have specialized Application/infrastructure knowledge and be able to perform minor changes (eg write scripts, read code, change batch jobs) in order to resolve more complex or unique problems and/or devise workarounds. In addition, they would be expected to set out the framework and standards in this discipline.
Requirements
* JAVA/J2EE applications on the FX, MM and Cash Risk areas of investment banking.
* Strong Linux/Unix Skills
* Unix Shell/Perl Scripting
* Understanding of TCP Networking/Load Balancing
* Understanding of Sybase and Oracle technologies
* Understanding the concepts of Asynchronous messaging via technologies such as MQ.
* Understanding/Experience of other technologies such as Tibco EMS, Nirvana and RV would be a distinct advantage.
