On behalf of our client, a renowned bank in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for a Network and Security Administrator/1st & 2nd Level Support for a contract role.
Your tasks would include
- Across departmental 1st & 2nd Level Support
- Installation, Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of the network-infrastructure (LAN, MAN, WAN) and the Firewall infrastructure
- Creating documentation including the instruction manual for 1st level support
- User administration
- You will also be part of various IT projects and your work will allow the business to operate smoothly and efficiently.
In order to be considered for this interesting role you are required to have:
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on IT experience and networks and security knowledge
- Knowledge of Network protocols: TCIP/IP, SNMP, SSH, DNS (BIND), DHCP (ISC)
- Knowledge of security: Firewalls, Proxy-solutions, Web and Mail traffic analysis
- Operating systems: Widows; Linux would be a bonus
- Experience with Routers and Switches
- Good English and German language skills
As well as the technical skills we are looking for someone who is used to be working independently, is happy to accept on-call duties, has good customer service and communication skills, is polite and has a professional appearance.
You would be starting ASAP on a 1 year contract which runs till the end of March 2015.
