On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated IT professional with solid experience as a Java/Oracle Database Developer for a contract position in the heart of Zurich.
The ideal start date would be April 2014.
Java/Oracle Database Developer, English (Contract, Zurich)
You will join a team of committed and passionate individuals working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for the analysis and design of the application architecture, creating and documenting the technical application design and implementing the application components using Java.
Your tasks will also include participating in unit, integration and user acceptance testing, ensuring the creation of adequate documentation and that common standards, tools and processes are adopted across won deliverables.
In order to be considered for this role you are required to have the following skills:
- Bachelor/Master degree or qualifying experience in Information Technology
- Expertise in Software Design and Engineering
- Very good Java development experience
- Oracle 10/11g experience
- SQL
- Hibernate/JPA
- Eclipse
- Shell Scripting
- Maven/Ant
- Fluency in English (German nice to have)
