2nd Level Support (Production Support and Trading)
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a 2nd Level Support with Production Support and trading experience. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Scope of work:
- Provide in-depth 2nd level support across a number of in-house high-profile FID/FX trading applications including root cause identification, bug fixing and problem management
- Engaging with application development teams in capacity as Subject Matter Expert within application support to ensure support requirements are delivered with application releases to make them support-ready and on documenting changes
- Leading major incidents including face off to senior managers within business and IT
- Deputizing for team lead as required
Skills:
- 5+ years of production support experience of multiple high-profile applications within a large organization ideally within a FID/FX trading environment
- Understanding of basic business concepts within a bank trading environment (FID/FX products)
- Unix/SQL querying & PLSQL (understanding)/Windows Server/Bash/Perl Scripting experience
- Experience of acting as a senior support lead including team lead experience when required
- English is a must
