Our client is a Swiss financial institute, based in Zurich. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a Windows System Engineer for a 6 months contract.
As a Windows System Engineer your responsibilities would be the following:
- Liaise with Business Analysts to contribute to requirements engineering process and respective reviews
- Work in close cooperation with IT Architecture and IT Security
- Conduct effort estimates for the respective project's engineering, testing and integration tasks
- Support the Project Manager with the creation and assignment of engineering work packages
- Ensure 3rd level support for the applications in scope
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- 4+ years' experience on Windows Operating System on client and Server Side
- Experience with Windows Software Distribution and packaging mechanisms
- 5 years' experience with Perl, SQL and XML
- Experience with .NET and Visual Studio is a plus
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
