Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with equally strong technical and finance knowledge.
Main tasks/activities:
- Coordinate with various business and IT teams.
- Data analysis task to derive optimal target solution.
- Develop design/spec documents for application engineers.
- Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive test plans.
Position requirements:
- Solid understanding and hands on experience in agile IT project management methodologies and techniques.
- Practical experience in using Object Oriented Analysis and design methods (UML).
- Hands on skills to conduct data analysis on relational databases. Strong SQL skills.
- Appreciate the complexity around different data models between different systems and the challenges that arise when transforming data from one model toanother.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans to make sure a software component is stable and meets the functional and non-function requirements.
- Good understanding of Core Business processes
- Solid understanding of financial market risk exposures is a plus.
- Proven quantitative finance background is a plus
