Swiss based senior .NET/C# Application Developer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Senior .NET/C# Application Developer. For this longterm contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start ASAP.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design and implementation of the Middle Layer in a new 3-Tier platform (goal is to decouple User Interface, Business Logic and Object Model)
- Contribution to the refactoring of the Database Object Model
- Creation of a Reporting framework
- New initiatives (Workflow, Document Management, APIs)
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- 5+ years experience in:
- Object Oriented Software Design
- .NET/C# 4.0
- WPF + MVVM (or very good experience with Silverlight + MVVM)
- Experience working in the Insurance sector or at least in the Financial industry
- Good knowledge of:
- Inversion of Control ideally Castle Windsor (or other like Spring.NET, Unity, )
- Persistence Layer: ideally NHibernate (or Entity Framework)
- Third party tools for UI: ideally Infragistics
- WCF/Web Services
- Unit Test: ideally NUnit
- SQL Queries, DB design, preferably for SQL Server
- Experience with VBA Script
