For our major client, a globally leading bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aSoftware Developer /Supporter Infrastructure & Private Equity (1903)
Our clients team of four IT staff is in charge of all application development and support for the Infrastructure & Private Equity business in Zürich.
They are an "embedded" application development IT team sitting together with the business.
One person in this team is going on maternity leave for 8 months and we need a replacement during that time to mitigate a key-person dependency risk.
20% of role will be non-development, involving such things as QA testing, client facing design discussions, Level 3 production support and technical troubleshooting
Requirements:
Min 2 years in a client facing environment
Min 2 years in an Agile environment, including unit test development
Min 5 years of development experience, including:
Min 5 years Object Orientated development experience with .NET C# & ADO.NET, of which 3 years is .NET 3.5 or higher
Min 4 years T-SQL
Min 3 years ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX & HTML5
Min 3 years multi-tiered and multi-threaded solutions
Min 1 year LINQ & XML
Excellent communication skills and team orientated approach
Excellent English (written and spoken)
Expected to work in a flexible, dynamic environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
Useful, but not essential, skills:
German (spoken)
Experience in a financial environment
Experience in a Scrum environment
Experience of Silverlight or WPF, WCF, windows forms, web services, windows services, ADO.NET entity framework, Business Objects
Experience of development with complex T-SQL query optimization, high performance back end systems, data warehouses, web UI design, distributed solutions, reports, build packaging & deployment
Experience of design patterns, refactoring, NANT, Team City
