e-Synergy Solutions are currently hiring for an HelpDesk & 1st/2nd Level Technical Support for a 6-12 month contract based in Zurich, Switzerland
Role - Helpdesk & 1st/2nd Level Technical Support
Location - Zurich, Switzerland
Duration - 6-12 months
Rate - Approx 550 CHF per day (negotiable)
Start Date - ASAP
Languages - English and German
Key responsibilities
*Ability to be able to support applications in a trading environment
*Windows based applications including web applications, Bloomberg, Reuters Dealing.
*Dealing with business queries within the trading & sales environment in a high-pressure business
*Ability to be able to communicate across a wide spectrum of stakeholders including senior managers within the business and IT
*Windows Active Directory
*Hardware preparation ( including assembling), Staging, profile configuration and delivery at client site
*English/German language essential
*Knowledge of banking environment required
Roles & Responsibilities:
*Investigation and resolution of incoming issues (incidents, service requests) from Business according
*ITIL - based Incident Management process.
*Timely and accurate communication to Business and to other Support teams.
*Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures.
*Troubleshoot client machine, network connections, business applications, and special requirements problems
*Report critical issues to 3rd level support group and management as needed
