For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Program Manager with fluent English and German for a new 6 month contract in Zurich with a strong potential for extension.
The start date for this role is start of April.
Senior Project Manager/Program Manager, German and English, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
Working on a multi year and global program on a strategic level, you will be responsible for the following deliverables as regional liaison for the program in Switzerland and work stream lead reporting to senior management:
- Being the liaison between the Strategic Program IT Team in Switzerland and the Program Team/Functional work stream Leads.
- Ensure the needs/requirements of the Strategic Program IT Team in Switzerland are clearly communicated to the department team
- Represent department, and support other work stream Leads in the various Strategic Program IT program team meetings
- Interface with IT Domain Leads and General Council clients to determine requirements of the Strategic Program across the 4 regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC and Switzerland)
- Partner with PMs, IT functional leads and IT SMEs to ensure alignment of solution to business needs and facilitate collaboration
- Develop consolidated, sequenced project plan across all the GC IT areas involved in solution.
- Capture and consolidate IT status, issues/risks, financials, resource requirements and allocations from all engaged PMs in GC IT.
- Ensure any methodology governance requirements are supported
- Report on progress and status to Program Team and Sr. Stakeholders as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Proven track record as a project and program manager in the financial services sector
- 10+ years' experience managing global projects across multiple time zones
- Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with and reporting to senior management
- Fluent German and English is mandatory
