PMO
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a PMO. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Scope of work:
Assist one or several IT Project Managers to conduct their software development projects focusing on the building of new or on the enhancements of existing applications in the Credits Domain.
Scope of work for the Project Management Officer (PMO) will encompass:
- Elaboration and maintenance of precise project planning and tracking in MS Project, Excel & JIRA
- Elaboration and maintenance of accurate staff planning and tracking in OnePPM & Excel
- Elaboration and maintenance of cost planning and tracking in OnePPM & Excel
- Preparation of status reports
- Organization of meetings and production of meeting minutes
- Maintenance of action item and issue tracker list
- On- and off boarding of project staff
- Elaboration and maintenance of stakeholder overview and management plan
- Elaboration and maintenance of risk management overview
- Maintenance of project documentation (help to keep artifacts up to date with correct naming conventions in SVN and on SharePoint)
- Management of deviation register
- Review of project documentation (form, layout and language)
- Tracking of change management overview
- Assist IT Project Manager in project communication activities
- Substitution of IT Project Manager during absences
Must skills
- 1 to 2 years of experience in assisting IT Project Managers of application development projects
- fluent written and spoken English
- solid Excel formulas, pivoting and SQL query skills
- experience in working with MS Project & JIRA
- distinctive project planning and controlling skills
- distinctive soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background
Advantageous skills
- German or Italian language skills
- experience in international projects, banking or finance industry
- project management education and certificate (PMI or IPMA)
- experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
