For our customer, a leading global financial institution, we are urgently looking for a

Senior Project Manager (1835)

This role is a six month contract with possibility of continuation.

In this challenging position as Project Manager your task is to implement a new traget2 interface in the payments area.

You’ll be responsible to develop project guidelines, to obtain business and information technology sponsor approvals and to plan and coordinate the resources necessary to successfully execute your project.

Major deliverables are:

Project guidelines
Work breakdown structures and effort estimations
Project plans and schedules, including resource- and cost plans.
Project execution aligned to our project standards based PMI methodology.
All project and process relevant artifacts based on our IT solution delivery policies.
Coordination of international teams at different locations.
Regular risk management, cost management, issues and action items tracking.
Presentations at project steering committee.
Regular project status reporting to senior IT management.
Extensive stakeholder management on senior level.

Your qualifications:
You have preferrably a university / university of applied sciences degree.
You are PMP PMI certified and know the project methodologies waterfall, scrum and agile.
Experience (years and area):

10 years ITPL with proven track record in software roll-out
5 years proven experience to manage project in international project teams
Payments knowhow highly preferred

MS Office and MS project is your daily business and you have a wealth of knowledge in technoligies Mainframe, Unix and Java.

German & English spoken & written is a must
