Alpina HR Services is looking for a SAP Business Analyst with MM/SD experience and ABAP skills (m/f) for the location of Zurich for one of our customers.Context:
The products are purchased and sold at market prices to industrial customer, company is exposed to commodity price risk. To recognize and evaluate this risk in the supply chain flows, the company has developed an own solution for the regional controlling departments. This solution has to keep pace with the changes in the company business processes.
Responsibilities:
Understand the existing solution and related supply chain business processes in detail from functional side. Update the documentation of the solution in detail from functional side.
Trigger cross-workstream alignment in case of solution changes.
Implement requests for change
- be able to put the request for change into the correct context of solution
- align with involved workstreams
- work out a solution proposal and align with template lead
- propose and agree solution proposal with business counterparts
- write functional specification
- test the solution (understanding source data in MM, SD is prerequisite)
Deliver project tasks
- work in a project team
- deliver project milestones on time and in full
- drive discussions with business counterparts
- understand business requirements and judge fit into existing solution (Fit/Gap)
- coordinate & communicate with different regions
- translate business requirements into solution proposals and align with template lead
- present solution proposals to business counterparts
- steer business agreement on solution proposal (Blueprint)
- write functional specification
- test the solution (understanding source data in MM, SD is prerequisite)
- agree with business counterparts on cut over activities and timing
Profile
- very good analytical skills
- good understanding of customer developments and ABAP
- good communication and presentation skills
- basic understanding commodity risk and hedge accounting concept
- good understanding of logistic processes (purchase side, sales side), meaning SAP MM and SAP SD modules
