For our customer, a global acting financial institute, we are looking in the area of Basel for aSenior Project Manager for PEX project Tool & Automation (1838)
As the senior Project Manager you take responsibility for 2 out of 4 Projects deliveries in time cost, scope and quality. You cooperate very close with internal clients, business analyst and development pools and further subject matter experts.
• Manages relationship with all project stakeholders
• Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting
• Organizes and leads the project
• Ensures project change management
• Provides the project plan and updates it as needed
• Schedules and manages the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases
• Establishes a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products
• Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews
• Ensures provision of cost and effort estimations
Responsibility:
• Delivery the project on time, in the expected quality and within budget according to defined contracts
• All necessary planning, controlling and reporting tasks within its project
• Risk management
• Providing the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed project deliveries
• Adequate project documentation
• Ensuring that the project follows SDLC principles/ standards
• Comply with given standards and regulations
We are searching for ambitious, motivated and experienced persons who are able to meet this requirements:
Mandatory skills:
Minimum 5 year experience as a Senior Project Manager for high scale and high complex Projects (approx. > 5 Mio investment) and/or cross experience in divisional and international project scope preferably in global companies within the financial industry.
• Leadership and ability to assert oneself
• Deep knowledge in Project Management (process, methods/agile and standards)
• SDLC knowledge and Experience preferred
• Business knowledge in Banking or Financial services
• Technical background referring to application layers / Banking business processes
Communication and negotiation skills:
• Transparent and structured approach
• English oral and written (must)
• German is a plus
The initial contract will be for 3 month, starting as soon as possible in February/March, extension option is given up to 16 month.
