For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Program Manager with fluent German and English for a new 5 month contract in Zurich on a part time 60% basis.
Senior Project Manager/Program Manager, German and English, Banking (60% Contract, Zurich)
Your tasks will include:
- Lead a team of approx. 10 senior project managers (mainly lead/support the preparation of status and management information, manage escalations, review critical project status, ensure smooth collaboration with related areas, interface with overall portfolio management)
- Ensure resourcing and delivery of projects according to budgets and financial targets
- Support department head in the financial steering and tracking including communication/consolidation with responsible Portfolio Management and finance units
- Manage contracts with service providers
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- min. 10 years of portfolio, program and (large) project management in an international environment
- optional: understanding of secure & control infrastructure technologies an advantage
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
- Quick learner to efficiently take over responsibilities
- Flexible working style
- Strong people leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of leading intercultural teams
