For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a Project Portfolio Manager (60%)
Scope of work:
a. short description of work scope: Security & Control Technologies project portfolio management as stand-in for appr. 5 months (60%)
b. description of the tasks
* Lead a team of appr. 10 senior project managers (mainly lead/support the preparation of status and management information, manage escalations, review critical project status, ensure smooth collaboration with related areas, interface with overall portfolio management)
* Ensure resourcing and delivery of projects according to budgets and financial targets
* Support department head in the financial steering and tracking including communication/consolidation with responsible Portfolio Management and finance units
* Manage contracts with service providers
Technical and other skills:
a) experience (years and areas): min. 10 years of portfolio, program and (large) project management in an international environment
b) technology: optional: understanding of secure & control infrastructure technologies
c) languages: fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
d) (social) skills
* Project management with fast adaptability to CS methodology, processes and tools (or preferably existing knowledge of CS methodology and tools)
* Quick learner to efficiently take over responsibilities
* Flexible working style
* Strong people leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience of leading intercultural teams
