Lead Global Engineering Team - security/Siteminder/PING/Web Entry Infrastructure/Reverse Proxy

Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a Team Lead of the Global Engineering team for one of our major clients in the banking sector.
The role is to lead and manage a global engineering team in Secure & Control Technologies.
You will be responsible for the execution of key projects/initiatives and the maintenance and support of the current product portfolio. You will interface with product management peers and project managers to ensure resources (internal/external) are available when needed.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITY
- Ensuring projects in area of responsibility are successfully executed by engineering staff
- Ensuring existing products are maintained and stable
- Providing active support for employee career development
- Ensuring timely resource planning and reporting
- Supporting the implementation of new sourcing and deployment models
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Higher education in Computer or Information Sciences or relevant work experience
- Proficient English skills
- Technical know-how in security domain (eg Siteminder, PING, Web Entry Infrastructures, Reverse Proxy)
- Leadership experience (preferably in an engineering environment)
- Ability to network and influence, strong collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Banking experience
- German is a big plus
